Lake George holiday light show doubling in size LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Every November, the village of Lake George lights up to beckon the winter along. This year, those plans are expanding to a second day - and growing to encompass a new winter event coming to Charles R. Wood Park. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! The 25th annual Lite Up the Village in Lake George is set for two dates - Friday and Saturday, Nov. 24 and 25. The new addition of Friday is in place in order to welcome the new "Winter Realms" attraction, replacing Ice Castles New York, which welcomed visitors for the last two years. The Winter Realms will include ice skating, light shows, and more, all contained within the park. Police arrest Hudson Falls man for allegedly sexually abusing minors HUDSON FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested a 48-year-old male from Hudson Falls on Friday. Police investigations determined that Montero allegedly had sexual contact with town individuals under the age of 13 over several months. LOUIS – St. Louis police are investigating two separate shootings in north city neighborhoods.The first shooting happened in the 4900 block of Euclid Avenue, located in the Fountain Park neighborhood, according to Sgt. Kansas City Zoo mourning loss of oldest Masai giraffe, Mahali KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Zoo announced Tuesday that its beloved Masai giraffe, Mahali, has died. The zoo said Mahali, the oldest Masai giraffe in facilities accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, died on Oct. 19, at the age of 29. She was euthanized due to worsening chronicconditions associated with her advanced age that no longer responded to treatment. City Union Mission looking for holiday season volunteers, donations Mahali was born at the Los Angeles Zoo in July 1994 and arrived in Kansas City in April 1995. The zoo said Mahali was the tallest female of the giraffe herd, measuring over 15 feet tall.
